Slacking!!

So sorry to have neglected my blog!!! It's the final weeks of school, therefore, crunch time...I have much to blog about...Even's first Easter, Even's first bike, and of course he's pulling up now...I promise to get all this up and going very very soon!!

9 Month/Spring/Easter Pictures

Today we got another set of pictures of Even done!! But this time we had his cousin MeMe in them too. He was not as excited as the his 7 month pictures (yes I know we get his pictures done often), but we still go some great shots...

First Trip to Busch Gardens

March 10th Dave and I took Even to Busch Gardens for the first time. I have to say I think he really liked it...LOL...the only thing he was able to go on was the train, but he looked around the whole time. When we looked at the animals he seemed to look at them and then turn away...hahahaha...they didn't keep his interest too long. Oh well, I think mommy and daddy got more out of it than he did. We go the fun-card so we will be going back for sure. We will definetly be there right after the Sesame Street Safari opens up...that will make for cute pictures that I will be sure to post!!

1st Disney trip

So the weather and health did not cooperate with us!! I am very sad to say that we didn't make it to the Magic Kingdom today, but we did however make it to downtown disney. We stayed at the Pop Century Resort which was a lot of fun!! I highly recommend that hotel because it's affordable and has Disney's stamp.

We also went to Downtown Disney and ate at Planet Hollywood...we have never been there so it was a first for all of us...again it was lots of fun...they had a DJ and played fun music and Even loved it. We thought maybe it was too loud at first, but he was laughing and screaming right along with loud music.


Of course the best part of it all was Even getting to meet his Aunt and cousin for the first time...Unfortuneatly, my cousin Tiffany got sick today (which is one reason why we didn't make to the Magic Kingdom). And mom wasn't feeling well, I am just getting over a cold, and so is Even...but all in all...I'm glad we got to see family and experience some "1st" times together!!

Even's 1st (of many) trips to Disney coming up...

Super excited!!! Yesterday we decided that Even's first trip to Disney will be March 2nd!!! We have family coming in town that week from Michigan so what better way to experience a trip to Disney than with lots of family!?!??! So please stay tuned as I am sure I will have much to discuss after his trip and of course lots of pictures.

Even is 8 months old today!!

Wow...another month has passed since Stinky P was born...You'd think that eventually it would sink in that I am a mommy to the most precious little boy in the world, but it hasn't yet!! Maybe when he is 18 years old I will come to terms with that...or maybe he'll just keep amazing me and I will never fully understand the feelings I have for him. He's "army" crawling all over the place...it's the funniest thing ever to watch. He gets up on all 4s and rocks, but then just plops down on his tummy...I'm not rushing a thing...Happy Birthday Big Boy!!! Mommy and Daddy love you soo much!!!

Sesame Street Goodies

So I started collecting things for Even's birthday since they were such a good deal (thanks to http://stealsdealsandheels.blogspot.com/)!!! I was told about the $1 bins at Target and went cleaned up shop there...since there are so many kids that I am inviting that have an age span from 9 months-13 years old, I am breaking them into age groups and this is just a part of the younger age groups goodie bags...This morning I just received another tip that the $1 stores have sesame street stuff too...guess where I will be as soon as it opens...

TEETH!!!!

Today I had tears in my eyes when I saw the upper gum line of my little boy...He has 3 teeth cutting through!!! He's not even 8 months old yet and he has 2 teeth completely in on the bottom and 3 on top that cut through...I'll be feeding him cheerios in no time!!!

Even's 7-Month Pictures

On Sunday we had our 7 month pictures taken at Portrait Innovations...I highly recommend them!! They were patient and affordable. The girls had Even smiling and laughing the whole time, which made for great pictures...a couple our posted on here...our next set of pictures will be in April for Easter...can't wait to compare them to Even's 7 month pictures. It isn't until I look at his pictures that I really see how he has changed...

Even is 7 Months Old today!!

I can 't believe my little man is 7 months old today!!! Where did the time go?? It seems like when I put him to bed last night he was 1 month old and then he woke up today 7 months old.

Even screams and makes the funniest noises, he has recently discovered his pee-pee when he's in the bathtub, and he is just about crawling around. I'll be super stressed from school or work and I look at him and I just smile. My heart melts when I think of his innocence and all that he has yet to be exposed to...I want to keep him that way for ever to ensure his safety from the harsh realities. However, I can't so I am going to cherish each second I have with him.

Happy Birthday 'Lil Stinky Peanut...you are the best thing that's every happened to me!!!

Mommy Loves You!!!

The End is in Sight!!

Today both Dave and I start the beginning of the end of our current education endeavour!! I start one of the last five semesters I have for graduate school and Dave starts one of the last three he has for his 2nd Bachelors degree. This time next year Dave will be entering graduate school at USF (Medieval European History) and I will be preparing for graduation...WOO HOO!!!

This is the start of a great year (we are predicting). My BFF is having her baby pretty much any day now, my 8-year old niece will be making her first communion, our son will be turning one, we will be taking our first vacation as a family, and my other BFF is getting married in Grand Caymans!!! Not to mention all the other things that will pop up between now and the end of the year that we just don't know about yet!!!

The Beginning

The Beeler Bunch was established in 2000, November 5th to be exact. Dave and I met as we both worked for Southtrust Bank (currently Wachovia Bank). He was leaving (to pursue a career in the financial industry) and I was filling his position (still trying to figure out my career). It was love at first sight. I saw him and I just knew that I was going to marry him!! I was so confident that we would be married one day, I went home that night and told my mom that I met the man of my dreams. Of course she thought I was nuts (which I am, just not about this)!!


I knew on Friday (Dave's last day) it was all or nothing. I knew that if he didn't ask me out that day I was never going to see him again. Thankfully, a co-worker received flowers and that was my ticket to put myself out there. I said "I want flowers like that." And Dave replied with "I'll send you flowers if you go to a hockey game with me?" Oh my goodness...did he just ask me out??? I knew that was the beginning of the end for me...I knew in my heart that we would be married one day!!! And so 5 years to the day, after the Lightning vs. Flames on Saturday night and red roses sent to me at work on the following Monday, we celebrated one of the two best days of our lives...our wedding...Now it's been almost 10 years and I've never been with someone that is more perfect!!
